FAQs
What should I expect from a psychotherapy session?
The simplest explanation is that a therapy session will feel like an hour of opening up, exploring your feelings while I am fully engaged and empathising with you. Therapy involves forming a therapeutic relationship and creating an opportunity for you to reach your full potential.
Where do sessions take place?
All my sessions are currently conducted through Microsoft Teams. If you struggle with technology, I would be happy to guide you through the process.
If you live in the Glasgow/East Kilbride area and are interested in in-person sessions, please get in touch as I am exploring opening a physical office.
Who is eligible for sessions at Concordant Counselling?
I work with anyone 16+ provided we feel we are a good therapeutic match. I work with anyone in the UK, and if you are in another country, I am open to exploring working with you subject to local laws and time zone restrictions.
What do sessions cost?
The typical per-session fee is £55. The length of a session is one “counselling hour” AKA 50 minutes. I offer block-buy discounts and concessionary rates. Get in touch if you’d like to know more about what reduced rates I can offer.
